I am a recent graduate of Illinois State University and currently hold a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media, with a concentration in Interactive Media.

 

I am passionate about many things in life, including my pets, good coffee, running, and writing! When I'm not working, you are guaranteed to find me laying in my hammock with an iced coffee (in a reusable cup), my journal, and a good book. 

 

 Growing up, I was always known as the shy kid in the back of the class who was too afraid to even raise her hand. So when I decided to major in communications, it surprised a lot of people, even my parents! But being shy didn't mean that I wasn't good at communications. In fact, it made me a stronger communicator and gave me a bigger opportunity to learn and practice communicating with people in other ways besides speaking.

 

In these past 4 years, I have devoted myself to studying strategic communications and mass media because I want to continue connecting with people in new, innovative ways. During my college career, I spent my time immersing myself in media production, broadcast communications, visual design, web design, and video production. I have grown to become an experienced communications professional, a storyteller, and a soon-to-be digital marketing professional.
